HOW TO CHOOSE STAINLESS STEEL FILTER Heading

Filtration accuracy

High-quality stainless steel oil filter elements must have high filtration accuracy and can effectively intercept impurity particles below 20 microns to prevent tiny particles from entering the equipment and causing wear. ‌

Material and corrosion resistance

Preferred materials are 304, 316 or 316L stainless steel, which are resistant to high temperature and corrosion and suitable for harsh working conditions. ‌

Structure and diameter

The filter element structure must ensure smooth passage of oil, and the inlet and outlet diameters should be consistent with the inlet diameter of the pump to avoid affecting the system pressure. ‌

Pressure level

Select the filter element pressure level according to the maximum working pressure of the system to ensure stable operation under high pressure. ‌

Resistance loss

The pressure loss under actual working conditions needs to be calculated, and the number of filter elements should be increased if necessary to reduce the overall resistance.
