First, the oil to be filtered enters the oil filter element through the inlet, and is evenly distributed into the filter element through the oil inlet pipe.

As the oil passes through the filter element, the impurities, particles, and moisture contained in the oil are intercepted by the filter media and trapped on the surface of the filter element.

At this point, the filtered oil passes through the filter element and flows out from the oil outlet, and finally enters the compressor lubrication system.

When the impurities accumulated on the surface of the filter media reach a certain level, the filter element will enter the clogging stage. At this time, the pressure drop across the filter element will increase, indicating that it needs to be replaced or cleaned in order to maintain the filtration efficiency and ensure the normal operation of the air compressor.

When the pressure difference between the two ends of the oil and gas separation filter reaches 0.15MPa, it should be replaced; When the pressure difference is 0, it indicates that the filter element is faulty or the airflow is short circuited. In this case, the filter element should also be replaced. The general replacement time is 3000-4000 hours. If the environment is poor, its usage time will be shortened.
