     310S stainless steel is austenitic chromium nickel stainless steel, which has good oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance. Due to the high percentage of chromium and nickel, it has much better creep strength and can continue to operate at high temperatures, with good high temperature resistance. Due to the high content of nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr), it has good oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and high temperature resistance. High temperature resistant steel pipes are specifically used for manufacturing electric furnace tubes and other applications. After increasing the carbon content in austenitic stainless steel, its strength is improved due to its solid solution strengthening effect.     Chemical composition. The chemical composition of 310S stainless steel (also known as 0Cr25Ni20 or 1Cr25Ni20Si) includes carbon (C) ≤ 0.08%, silicon (Si) ≤ 1.00%, manganese (Mn) ≤ 2.00%, phosphorus (P) ≤ 0.035%, sulfur (S) ≤ 0.030%, nickel (Ni) 22.00%, and chromium (Cr) 24.00-26.00%. It is a high alloy austenitic stainless steel known for its excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance. The chemical composition of 316L stainless steel includes carbon (C) ≤ 0.03%, silicon (Si) ≤ 1.00%, manganese (Mn) ≤ 2.00%, phosphorus (P) ≤ 0.035%, sulfur (S) ≤ 0.03%, nickel (Ni) 10.0-14.0%, chromium (Cr) 16.0-18.0%, and molybdenum (Mo) 2.0-3.0%. It is a molybdenum containing austenitic stainless steel widely used due to its excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength.

    High temperature strength. 310S stainless steel has excellent high-temperature strength and is suitable for high-temperature applications. The continuous use temperature can reach 1150 ℃, and the maximum temperature can reach 1200 ℃. 316L stainless steel also performs well at high temperatures, but it is not suitable for continuous use in the range of over 800-1575 degrees.
