1. Diamedr mewnfa ac allfa
Mewn egwyddor, ni ddylai diamedr mewnfa ac allfa'r elfen hidlo dur di-staen fod yn llai na diamedr mewnfa'r pwmp cyfatebol, sy'n gyffredinol gyson â diamedr y biblinell fewnfa.
2. Dewis pwysau enwol a rhwyll agorfa
Penderfynwch lefel pwysau'r elfen hidlo dur di-staen yn seiliedig ar y pwysau mwyaf a all ddigwydd yn y biblinell hidlo, gan ystyried yn bennaf maint gronynnau'r amhureddau i'w rhyng-gipio, yn unol â gofynion proses llif y cyfrwng.
3. Deunydd Elfen Hidlo
Yn gyffredinol, dewisir deunydd cetris hidlo dur di-staen i fod yr un fath â deunydd y biblinell broses gysylltiedig. Ar gyfer gwahanol amodau gwasanaeth, gellir ystyried cetris hidlo haearn bwrw, dur carbon, dur aloi isel, neu ddur di-staen.
4. Colli ymwrthedd elfen hidlo
Cyfrifwch y golled pwysau yn seiliedig ar y cyfrwng gwirioneddol. Ni ddylai gosod elfennau hidlo effeithio ar weithrediad arferol y system. Gellir cynyddu nifer yr elfennau hidlo yn ôl y sefyllfa i leihau'r golled pwysau.
